WIP 08/07/17 Woodland Themed Afghan – Owl Applique

I am excited to be so close to being able to join all my granny squares together and get this thing DONE!! I wanted to get it finished before my big trip across state to see my mom in a few days but I don’t think that will happen. I’m not going to beat myself up over being so slow on this afghan though…. I only started making my own applique patterns 6 months ago when I started this project, so I have an excuse. LOL 🙂

Anyways, my latest applique is this awesome owl! Most of the appliques I’ve seen for owls have the owl just facing forward. I, of course, wanted to do something a little different and made him kinda sideways. Hope you like him!
